Former Churchill Comedian Nasra Yusuf caught the attention of her fans on Friday, August 26 when she intimated that she doesn't mind having a co-wife.

On Friday night, Nasra told her fans to ask her anything they want on Instagram's Ask a Question. A female fan asked if she can be Nasra's co-wife, to which the comedian answered affirmatively.

"it's high time we agree men are polygamous by nature."

Nasra said that she would prefer if her man marries whoever he is seeing on the side so that they can all live in harmony.

It appears that her opinion elicited a sharp reaction because in subsequent posts, Nasra asked people why they were bothered by her saying she doesn't mind a co-wife.

Nasra is married to Director Rashid, whom she met in 2017. Responding to the criticism, Nasra added,

"Mnasema hamko ready to accept that men are polygamous?"

Laughing about it, Nasra added a poll to this reaction. Many told her 'peleka ujinga uko'. In another opinion, Nasra added,

"Tukubali men will always cheat, hao unaskia wanaitwa wababa wako on their 50's and all they're doing is cheating on their wives...what makes you think huyo wako wa 20 something na 30 something ndio hatacheat?"

Nasra continued her controversial thoughts saying,

"Imagine if you find out that he's been cheating, you will be devastated right?...Sasa mbona ujipee hio depression while you can help him choose a good wife?"

She added with a laughing emoji. How is marriage life taking Nasra? "Alhamdulillah," was the comedian's simple and succinct answer.

The couple dated and tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2021. Rashid proposed to Nasra in February of the same year and she wasted no time in sharing the exciting news on social media.

They announced they were expecting a baby recently, but Nasra sadly miscarried.

Nasra expressed that she was heartbroken by the loss and described it as the saddest day of her adult life.

Losing my little angel before I even met him/her makes it even harder to process I was way too excited for this journey, I had everything, from the name to the sort of life he/she would have all figured out in my mind…ooh how I wish I just saw your little face, my baby,” the comedian shared.

Nasra Yusuff expressed love for her husband for being supportive and being there for her despite experiencing the grief too.

"During this difficult process, I got to see what kind of a man I was really married to…Manze this man was broken, I'd never seen him that sad, but still, he chose to be strong for me, comforting me when he also needed to be comforted and going above and beyond to ensure that I got the best treatment…

I appreciate you more now and I love you more now, and I'll always choose you above anyone and anything, I always have and I always will,” Nasra penned in a lovely message to her hubby.
