Every ward in Lan’gata will have a resource center

Media Personality and Lang’ata MP-Elect Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has vowed to set up resource centers in all the five wards found in the Lang’ata constituency.

In a recent interview, Jalas said that he will try as much as possible to keep his promise of empowering the youth - making sure they are equipped with knowledge and skills.

Every ward in the Lang’ata constituency will have a resource center. Every resource will allow you to access a recording studio, Cyber, and everything else. This constituency has produced big stars like E-sir, Nazizi, Wyre, and Nameless we need to keep that legacy.

Lang’ata constituency has a total of five wards namely; Karen, Nairobi West, Mugumoini, South C, and Nyayo Highrise.

The former Kiss 100 presenter was declared MP-elect after garnering 38, 948 votes while his main competitor, the incumbent MP Nixon Korir got 36, 836 votes.

Jalang’o was vying for the seat on the ODM party ticket and on the other hand Nixon Korir was the UDA Party candidate.

Korir was among the first Kenyan politicians to concede defeat – thanking the people of Lang’ata for the opportunity to serve them for five years.

To the people of Langata, I sincerely thank you for according me the opportunity to be your Member of Parliament for the last 5 years.

He also congratulated Jalas for emerging victorious in the Lang’ata parliamentary race, a gesture that earned him praises among his supporters and Kenyans at large.

It’s been a great opportunity that gave me an avenue to contribute to our nation-building and service to the people. From the results that we've tallied at the Generali center, my competitor Jalango has a lead and I want to congratulate him as he prepares to take the mantle and move Langata forward. Siasa si chuki. God bless Langata.
