Nollywood actor and filmmaker from Nigeria, Williams Uchemba, has revealed the reason behind his decision to stop participating in workouts at public gyms.

Uchemba, in a video on his Instagram page, pointed fingers at women who engage in workouts at public gyms, stating that their attire lacks modesty and respect.

As a result, Uchemba said that they are the reason why he stopped exercising and chose to focus on his journey to inherit the kingdom of heaven.

The actor mentioned the temptations associated with such attire and stated that if he continued to exercise at public gyms, he would stray, so he decided it was better to quit the gym and focus on his spiritual journey.

To address the issue, Uchemba has taken the initiative to establish a home gym to maintain his fitness without encountering such nuisances.

The Nollywood actor publicly urges women attending the gym to dress modestly, emphasizing that the increasing trend of disrespectful attire in such environments troubles and distracts men mentally.

Using his social media platform, Uchemba directly addressed the issue, urging women to reconsider their choice of attire for the sake of both the men attending the gym and spiritual well-being.

"Should all women and men stop coming to the gym? Because your disrespectful attire is out of control. It's scary. I'm tired," he expressed.

He continued, "Please, try to dress modestly at the gym. Some men are determined to focus on their journey to heaven, please don't bother us. Every time someone comes to the gym, they are forced to see what they didn't intend to see."

He stressed his commitment to maintaining a spiritually focused lifestyle, even if it meant sacrificing the convenience of a public gym.

"You women are trying to prevent men from going to heaven, but it won't work because I've left the gym, I've set up a gym in my house because I can't stand it, I want to pursue the journey to heaven," he concluded.
