Ivy Chelimo graduates with a Law Degree

Ivy Chelimo, the lady who coined the nickname Riggy G has finally secured her law degree.

Sharing her graduation photos, she captioned the moment,

"•|| Bagged that Law degree 👩🏾‍🎓 ||•"

Ivy is a law graduate from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA).

Contrary to what she pursued on campus, Ivy previously revealed she got a job in the office of the Deputy President as part of the communication team.

Speaking on how the job unfolded, "he ('Riggy G) asked me what I wanted and whether I would be interested to join the communication team."

With no doubts and hesitation, she said yes.

Sakaja comes to the rescue of Riggy G

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has come to the aid of Comedian and content creator Zakaria Kariuki aka Mr KK Mwenyewe who was struggling to pay his University fee.

On Friday, Mr KK who became famous for mimicking DP Rigathi Gachagua put up a public appeal- asking Kenyans to help sponsor his education.

The appeal reached Governor Sakaja who offered to help.

"My people and my fans am very grateful men today, after I posted my issue of fees many of came on to offer your help nawashukuru sana wote @jsakaja kwa kulipa my fee may god bless you all. Mimi kitu naeza fanya tuu kuwashukuru tuu ni wafurahisha na content asanteni sana,” he said

KK Mwenyewe is a student at Kisii University where he is pursuing Applied computer Science.

According to the creative he owed the school 10,900K which must be cleared by October,30,2022.

Sharing his appeal with his fans he shared

“I am a third-year student at Kisii University and we have been asked to clear our balances by October 30, 2022.

At the moment, my parents are not in a position to raise the Sh10,900 that I need and do not want to defer my studies,” he said.

Cartoon speaks on splitting up with Steve and Daisy

Kenyan comedian turned rapper Vanessa Akinyi, popularly known as Cartoon Comedian, has finally spoken on what transpired between her and fellow actors Steve Mogul and Diana Daisy.

In an interview with Mungai Eve, Cartoon got candid as she revealed the split was amicable and the two needed to grow their brands.

"Tukianza kushoot everyone was a comedian and had a life... kuwork na wao it was the best experience ever.

They are nice people and have good hearts, but ikafika point, they needed to grow their brand."

Though it caught her by surprise, she said supporting each other was the least they could do,

"They just wanted to grow their brands on their own, and the least we would have done is support each other."

Speaking about her cheating partner, Cartoon confirmed she got cheated on, and it was not a stunt to publicize her song.

Kenyan musician Amos Muema aka Amos from Tusker Project Fame duo Amos and Josh is officially off the market.

Amos walked down the aisle with his lover Mercy in a private wedding ceremony. The occasion was graced by their close friends and family.

On the other hand, Joshua Simani aka Josh of the music duo Amos and Josh and Merlyne Chepchumba welcomed a bouncing baby girl back in 2018.

The two love birds who have named the Baby Anaya, welcomed her to the world with a special dedication dubbed Gimme Your Love that was composed by Josh and Chepchumba.

Risper Faith addresses her Instagram exposé

Socialite cum businesswoman Risper Faith has finally addressed her recent Instagram exposé.

Speaking to content creator Mungai Eve, Risper said that it was all intentional as her sales were low, and she needed to get people talking.

"Ni showbiz, what's wrong with me photoshopping my photo? It's my Instagram, I can do whatever I want.

Mimi nilidecide tu ni end month, sales ziko down, so acha nipige kelele kwa mtandao ndio watu wanikumbuke wakuje kwa shop wanunue products..."

Risper revealed that the strategy worked, and it always works,

"...and it worked, it works."

Speaking on the photoshopped photo that got netizens talking,

"By the way si mimi nakaa fiti kumshinda? truth be told, so mimi nilifanya job fiti kumshinda," Risper pat herself on the back.

Giving details on how it all unfolded, Risper stated that she was the model's ardent follower,

"She is a USA model, I follow her, and I like her content, so this photo really struck me, and I sent it to my photographer and asked what we can do with it.

I don't know what came over me. Pia, unataka kuchangamsha watu, people have to talk about you, to be out there."

she added that it was all out of pressure, to keep up with the standards,

"You want your Instagram to look good, the pressure, mimi nilipata hii picha nikasema let me post and tell people good morning, asubuhi watu hukunywa nini? si ni chai, coffee na strong tea."

"Everyone on Instagram is faking it." Risper said. "Mbona tukitoa motivational speeches pinterest tupost haina shida? lakini nikipost picha ya coffee iko na shida," she needed someone to explain.

Riggy G appeals for help to clear University fee

“I would like to complete my studies and graduate. That is my main goal at the moment. I am passionate about acting and maybe I will go full throttle after school but my focus is on finishing my undergraduate programme.”

KK became an instant hit online with his near-perfect imitation of DP Gachagua. His pages have grown steadily and he boasts of 30,000 followers and 13,000 followers on Facebook and Instagram respectively.

Willy Paul flaunts his expensive rides

Musician Willy Paul showed off his rides in what seemed like a counter-response to his critics after days after unveiling a new Mercedes Benz - yellow in colour. 

The star had been accused of re-painting his white signature Mercedes Benz yellow.

The singer-turned-businessman also raised eyebrows with the 666 number plate on the new car among other unsolicited opinions for his previous post.

The calculated counter response read:

"They said I painted my old car Yellow... hapana here are my babies just chilling. Good life, life bila stress life bila scandals life tu ya kisani... let's all learn to celebrate one another coz life ni short na haitaki hasira so just enjoy it!!"

In the video the 'Sitolia' singer shows off two of his Mercedes Benz rides one white and the other yellow.

Amber Ray clarifies on presumed engagement to Kennedy Rapudo

Socialite Amber Ray's presumed engagement to boyfriend Kennedy Rapudo wasn't what we thought it was.

Yesterday, Amber's sister Ellay shared a video of her being introduced her boyfriend, businessman Kennedy Rapudo's family.

Amber was wearing a long African print dress while her bae Rapudo wore a suit to compliment their day.

In the video doing rounds, Amber is seen serving Rapudo a drink as their friends and relatives laughed.

On her social media, Amber Ray had also shared videos of behind the scene as the food was being prepared.

Well, after numerous congratulatory messages by her fans, Amber has said the ceremony was just meant for parents to know that the two are dating.

"Thank you all for the warm messages but, as usual….bloggers wamewatupanisha. It wasn’t an engagement but introduction (for parents to know that we are dating) which is a huge step for us," she wrote.

The mother of one then asked her fans to stop rushing her into things.

"Ebu muwache kutuharakishia. We are just taking a day at a time and honestly I’m enjoying every bit of it @kennedyrapudo I’m so happy I’m going through this journey with you."

Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya (Baha) has landed himself a new gig after he has was launched as a brand ambassador of a leading tourism company.

The father of one will be working with Expeditions Maasai Safari's, an opportunity he said he is grateful for.

"I have always wanted to work with a tour company that is on the forefront of enabling Kenyans to travel and experience the world," he said in a statement after landing the gig.

Baha added that he was excited with the opportunity to grow the tourism industry.

Bien responds after former signee Crystal Asige sues Sauti Sol

auti Sol's Bien has spoken out after former signees Crystal Asige filed a lawsuit against the popular boy band for breaching its contract with her.

Speaking to Mpasho's writer Elizabeth Ngigi, Bien said the band is ready to meet the now-nominated senator who is representing persons living with disabilities, in court.

"Let us meet in court and put all our documents on the table. We can only follow the path she has chosen. Those matters can be well handled in court just like she has done," Bien stated.

According to court documents, Asige wants the court to compel the artistes to disclose how much they have received from the songs she contributed, Lenga, Extravaganza, Ukiwa Mbali, Intro and Favourite Song since 2019.

She is also urging the court to order Sauti Sol to compensate her seeking orders that they deliver all licensing information on the songs she is aggrieved about.

Crystal Asige has sued Sol Generation Records Limited, Bien-Aime Baraza, Polycarp Otieno, Willis Chimano, Delvin Mudigi and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Kenya.

Omosh's new hustle will surely warm your heart

Former Tahidi High actor Joseph Kinuthia alias Omosh has for several times now confessed on wanting to change and become a better person after a series of life's lows 'beating' him to down.

'Jeraha' singer Jovial went out to her Instagram stories to address an issue of a delivery man who has tried to make a move on her .

The singer began by narrating how she ordered for a food delivery just as normal. The guy who delivered it confessed to be 'a fan' of hers which she appreciated but the guy started trying to woo her/stalk her.

The pretty singer further described how the 'audacious' guy kept calling and texting her afterwards. According to her the texts and calls happened inappropriately and it made her mad .

"Aah simu za usiku tena? Kila saa simu, nilitaka kukujulia hali, why bruh!" she lamented.

The 30 year-old politely asked people to respect people's privacy and hers in turn as she loves her own space.

"I don't want to be rude, respect people's privacy, I love my space ... watu wangu wa karibu wanajua,"she stated.

After this the curvaceous Swahili songwriter went ahead to cheekily suggest that she was going to change her contacts as the one she had was already 'ruined'.

"Mnitafutie line ingine mchukue hii, nabadilisha line kama jambazi,"she wittily stated.

Betty Kyallo celebrates mother in style

Media personality Betty Kyallo is celebrating her mum Julia, as she turns a year older today.

The mother of one penned a cute message to her mum referring to her as a queen and a true definition of strength and grace.

Betty praised her mum for always being her hero and supporting all her dreams.

"Dear Mama Happy Birthday!You are the true Queen. You are the total definition of strength and Grace. You are beautiful inside and out. You always will be my hero," Betty wrote.

Betty added that she is the best thing God ever gave to their family. She then wished her mother long life and happiness. 

"You are cherished and loved by me. You have taught me great things and you have held my hand every step of my life journey. You are my biggest cheerleader in everything I do. Bahati's wife Diana Marua has been ranked among seven other African female artists who have the most YouTube subscribers.

Diana Marua's YouTube channel has 783K subscribers, making her the most subscribed to female artist in Kenya and the eighth in Africa.

The list by Top Charts Africa features two Tanzanian and five Nigerian artists.

Singer Zuchu is leading the pack with some 2.29M YouTube subscribers, making her the most popular female artist on YouTube.

The Bahati's have continued to make headlines despite him losing his parliamentary bid at the just concluded August General elections.

In June this year, Bahati's own YouTube page hit a milestone after he clocked a million subscribers becoming the second Kenyan musician to hit the milestone.

Wahu speaks on whether she would ever want a son

David Mathenge aka Nameless had been receiving pressure online to get a baby boy something that didn't bother him much even when his wife Wahu welcomed a third baby girl two weeks ago.

In a recent post on Facebook, the mother of three responded to a fan who asked her if she had a dream of ever getting a baby.

The fan who identified as Cecy  Mas said;

"Congratulations. But do you still have a dream of getting a baby boy?

Wahu said she is happy and content with her girls.

"Not at all, I am so happy and content."

Wahu was talking about how she missed going out after she first stepped out since she welcomed her baby.

In another post, the mother of three said with her first born baby, Tumiso, she stayed indoors for so long.

"When I finally decided to walk to the kiosk it was such a ceremony nilivaa makeup," she said.

Last week, Nameless addressed another fan who told him to get a baby boy so he could have a great legacy as an African.

In one post, Nameless said he has realised that it is not about the gender of a child but about how the parent brings the child up by moulding the character that matters.
