Hussein speaks after new State House Job

Celebrated Media personality Hussein Mohamed has broken his silence after being appointed new State House Spokesperson by President William Ruto.

In a statement released on Saturday, Mohamed thanked Ruto for the opportunity to serve in his government as the State House spokesperson.

“Mr. President @WilliamsRuto, I’m grateful & humbled by the honour you have bestowed upon me to serve as State House Spokesperson. I pledge to tirelessly work in supporting you deliver the plan to achieve greatness for our republic,” read part of the message.

The former Citizen TV news anchor also thanked Kenyans who congratulated him in large numbers on his new job.

“Thanks, patriots for your congratulatory messages,” Hussein Mohamed said.

On Friday, President William Ruto appointed Hussein Mohamed as the new State House Spokesperson taking over from Kanze Dena. 

Ringtone wants to hire Eric Omondi as his houseboy

ontroversial gospel musician Ringtone Apoko has offered to employ comedian Eric Omondi who he claims has no talent.

Speaking on Friday night at NTV’s The Trend show, Apoko said he can employ Omondi as his compound manager at his Runda home.

"I told him to come I give him a job and he refused. I can employ him as a compound manager in my Runda home," Ringtone said.

Ringtone went on to state that the self-proclaimed President of comedy in Africa has no talent and is broke.

"Nothing else he can do. He does not have a talent so I can only hire him as a house boy. He wants to live a good life. He can't live in Runda and that is why he is always posting people's houses."

Asked how much he would pay Eric, Apoko said;

"I can give him Sh50k."

Ringtone then showed off sh100k he had in his pocket alleging that it was for supper.

The gospel singer is not new to controversy.

Speaking to Kamene Goro on The Morning Kiss, the 'Popstar' singer said;

"All parts of me are me but I bought some part of me. You buy it, you own it. My hips and butt is real. I had a big butt way before I became famous. I wanted to be a bit more proportional..." She said.

Adding "I got my boobs done at Beverly Hills and also got my teeth done. They are certified doctors. Incase of anything you can sue them. You get your money's worth.I got this done three four years ago. It cost me 6000 dollars."

Sidika recently made headlines after lying that she had reduced her butt.  She later came out to insinuate that she wasn't sorry after fans said she made an insensitive publicity stunt.

"Y'all didn't find it sensitive when people were mocking, laughing at me for having surgery complications. U even joined them," she wrote on Instagram.

Sonko's daughter Sandra to own a private jet by 30

Sandra Mbuvi, daughter to former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko wants to own a private jet by age 30.

During an interview with Prince Newton, the digital content creator asked Sandra what her biggest aspiration was considering that it seems she has everything in life.

"What is that one thing you have always wanted to have in your life and you don't have it yet and you'd do anything for it..." Newton asked. 

"A private jet... I would like to own my private jet by the time I'm hitting 30.

I feel like it is about time." Sandra revealed. 

The Youtuber finished off the aspirations topic by highlighting that the plus size model had less than a decade to achieve her dreams as she is in her early 20s.

Sandra says she does not live off her father adding that she makes her own money.

 Her first modelling contract ever was working with the Range Rover brand, which paid her handsomely for the contract.

"In total, we have four range rovers. They paid me well and that's when brands started approaching me"

Among the celebrities who own private jets is Diamond Platnumz.

Zari surprises son with new iPhone 14 worth Sh200K

Businesswoman Zari Hassan has gifted her son Pinto Ntale a brand new iPhone 14 pro max.

The Brooklyn City College CEO used her socials to announce to her fans and followers that her son deserves a decent phone and that’s why she settled on an iPhone.

The new gadget retails between Sh190K to 300K depending on the specs and country of purchase. 

The expensive gift comes at a time the mother of five had fired at girls requesting to be hooked up with her eldest son.

The self-proclaimed boss lady says she's received many requests to 'connect' her son with girls.

"Everybody asking me to hook them up with my son," she said.

Hassan went on to explain;

"My kids are gonna have their lives, they are gonna date who they want. Good luck though! Cause I'm really raising handsome, well-behaved humble men. I'm gonna be your mother-in-law sometimes."

Akothee boycotts younger sister’s wedding

Singer Akothee has come out to explain why she will not attend her younger sister Cebbie Kok’s wedding scheduled for December 2022.

In a video, the singer disclosed that she has not been on good terms with her younger sister for the past year.

“We are having another event in December which I am very happy about.

"The only thing is I was not going to attend that wedding because me and my younger sister I have not been on good terms for almost a year now. (Maybe you didn’t know) I packed my bags and left this relationship on 31ST December.

 The singer also warned against dragging her sister on her wall, saying they should support her from her pages. 

“It is not good, it’s not fair. When she is doing good support her on her wall, please. I haven’t said she is evil. I battled depression for almost 6 months and I almost lost it so I don’t want to see myself in that situation again,”

The Abebo hitmaker hinted that she has postponed her much-hyped wedding to 2023, due to family wrangles. 

“Sorry guys for putting you through this…if I was my mother I would be so happy that I have one wedding this December and another one next year,”

Elseba Kokeyo well known as Cebbie Koks is set to wed lawyer Steve Ogolla in December 2022. The two have been dating in secret for a while now.

Diamond and Zari's kids demand answers on why they broke up

Diamond Platnumz and Zari were last night confronted by their two children over their separation.

According to Diamond's post, his daughter Tiffah and her brother Nilan called a family meeting and directly asked her father why he had broken up their family.

"So, last night mama told me you broke up the family, huh?" a bold Tiffah asked.

Diamond smiling asked the question again as Zari intervened while defending herself.

"That was not what I was saying. You asked me a question and I answered," Zari said.

"She said you were having a baby with another girl," Tiffah said.

Zari then asked her two children if they believed that their dad had other children, and they said no.

"I told you papa had another girl and had another baby," Zari explained.

Tiffah interjected the conversation and said Zari has another man.

"She (Zari) is now with another person."

"Mama Tee is the one who broke up the family," Nillan said.

Diamond then said they would be surprised when they grew up and learned the truth about why their parents are not together.

"That was a music video, our family is still strong. It never broke up," he said.

Ex-model Emma Too releases receipts of Trevor Ombija's mumama

Former model Emma Too has come out guns blazing not only to identify herself as the lady Trevor Ombija was talking about but to accuse the news anchor of having a mumama.

A video went viral of Trevor talking about how he had offered to soundproof the house of a certain tenant who'd been hounding him complaining about the noise issue.

Trevor was speaking during a meeting to iron out the noise complaint issued (over his lavish restaurant dubbed Samaki Samaki) between residents and business owners of the posh Kileleshwa area.

The media personality claimed that the woman on the topic was giving him hell simply because he declined to give her a landscaping contract.

Following the viral video, Emma came out with videos showing how loud music from Samaki Samaki fills her house as well as screenshots from chats she's had with a lady she claims is the real owner of the restaurant.

According to Emma a lady known as Vanice Morwabe is the real owner of the establishment.

Emma also took to Twitter to respond to Trevor's post but refrained from using his name and occasionally referred to him as Noah.

" I'm truly the wrong lady to intimidate! I'm not even shocked that's how he thinks he can solve this! I have been very clear about what they should do! 

I never address Noah, I address the real owner!," part of Emma's tweet read.

Neither Trevor nor the lady in question has come out to respond to Emma's tweets.

Zuchu surprises Diamond with Sh1.5 million Gold chain

Singer Zuchu surprised her boss and rumored lover Diamond Platnumz with a new gold chain worth Sh1, 525, 482.80.

In a video seen by this writer, Zuchu could be seen handing over the pricey gift to Platnumz with a revelation that it’s her Birthday present to her boss who turned a year older on October 2.

The new chain gift has Chibu Dangote's face on it decorated with pure gold.

“You will always be my hero,” read the wordings on the said chain. Upon receiving the gift from Zuchu Diamond kissed his signee on the lips as a way of saying thank you.

Later Zuchu shared photos of the said chain with a caption that says; “A little gift for my boss, hero @diamondplatnumz@shohrehcustomade it’s the lips For me 😂😂😂Thank you DK Smile,”.

Designing and customizing the new chain took at least two months.  

Former TV host Kimani Mbugua appeals for help

Former Citizen TV host Kimani Mbugua has asked Kenyans to appeal to his parents to let him out of Mathare hospital.

Taking it to his Twitter account, he noted that his parents had left him there to punish him after a psychotic episode.

" I appeal to all people who know me to kindly appeal to my parents to let me out of Mathare Hospital. I came here after a brief psychotic episode on the 4th of August and was discharged on the 10th of the same month. My parents have left me here to punish me." Kimani tweeted.

Through the Kimani Mbugua podcast, the journalist narrated how it felt like to get high on hard drugs

"Your brain goes out of reality when you are doing drugs. After I smoked weed, I started seeing things out of reality, I developed schizophrenia.

The first diagnosis I received was an acute psychotic episode, to show that something huge had happened to me."

Kimani continued to narrate his psychotic episode where he always saw a woman.

"I was eager to stop this woman in my 'dreams'.  I would sometimes smoke weed after the show and just chill in the parking lot.

The day it exploded; I was going home with my fiancé when I felt the sensation come in. I had taken a lot of cigarettes, red bull, and some weed."

"I saw a woman who was like a goddess who came to have sex with me. She started calling my name.”

Diana Marua questioned over Mueni's whereabouts

Netizens are speculating that there is trouble between Bahati's wife Diana Marua and his baby mama Mueni.

The two mothers have unfollowed each other on their social media and Yvette has taken her daughter away from her father's house.

Today, Diana Marua shared a video of her two children Majesty and Heaven showing their hairstyles.

Her fans noticed that Mueni was not in the picture like before when she was always with Diana's children.

Zuchu nominated for MTV EMA awards

Tanzanian songbird Zuchu has been nominated for the MTV European Music Awards (EMA) awards under the category Best African Act.

The African queen Zuchu becomes the first female artiste in East Africa to be nominated for the coveted award.

Reacting to this win, an excited Zuchu put up a post thanking her fans attributing her success to them.

"Tanzania stand up your girl is nominated on the @mtvema God is good niseme asante ni kwa sababu yenu ndo mimi niko hapo nawapenda sana .I’m coming back with a better caption cos right now am still shaking let me calm down first,"  read a post from Zuchu. 

Musician Nameless under pressure to get a baby boy

Musician Nameless has been forced to address fans who are pressuring him to get a baby boy after he welcomed a baby girl a few days ago.

Nameless has been flaunting videos and photos of him with his three girls explaining how happy he is to be a father of girls.

In one post, Nameless said he has realised that it is not about the gender of a child but about how the parent brings the child up by molding their character that matters.

"Meanwhile, I came to realize with my second baby Kio, it's not about the sex of the baby, it's about how you will bring him or her up and help mold their character. That's what really matters! I continue to pray for wisdom to guide yet another beautiful soul to be the best she can be to herself and the world... I am a happy soul and ready for this newly added purpose!"

A fan identified as Daphine member commented;

"Tafuta Kijana boss. Your legacy, we are Africans."

Responding to the comment, Nameless said used the comment to encourage his fans not to just follow beliefs without questioning and looking for better ways of living together as people.

"Saa zingine tunjiangusha na traditions that are outdated.

I understand that we have been taught to follow our culture or tradition without question, but the truth is we are suppose to use our wisdom to identify the parts of our culture that are unfair or unprogressive and let them go, as we adopt more progressive, fair and better ways of thinking and living ... Cultural evolution is where my leadership flourishes..."
