Diamond Platnumz's sexuality questioned after getting nose ring

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz on Sunday shared a video of himself getting a nose piercing while in Malawi.

The video which has since been shared on various social media platforms caused a stir online with many condemning him for that.

Fans who commented were lashing out at Diamond saying that it was against Islamic Laws while others said nose piercing in men is an LGBTQ behavior (note: this is obviously not based on fact but conjecture).

This is not the first time Diamond has been spotted wearing a nose ring. In 2016, he also trended after sharing a photo of him wearing a nose ring.

He was forced to pull it off after a section of his fans on Instagram reacted harshly.

The video comes a week after he got in trouble with his family members over his failure to acknowledge his kids with Tanasha Donna and Hamisa Mobetto.

Diamond and his baby mama Zari Hassan were tasked to explain to their kids Tiffah and Nillan why they broke up.

One of the questions raised by the kids was whether Platnumz had other kids apart from the two.

Princess Tiffah accused her mother of lying to them that their father had sired other kids outside their union and that is why they had broken up.

During the conversation that has now gone viral, Platnumz failed to confirm to Tiffah and Nillan that he indeed had other kids.
