Amber Ray clarifies on presumed engagement to Kennedy Rapudo

Socialite Amber Ray's presumed engagement to boyfriend Kennedy Rapudo wasn't what we thought it was.

Yesterday, Amber's sister Ellay shared a video of her being introduced her boyfriend, businessman Kennedy Rapudo's family.

Amber was wearing a long African print dress while her bae Rapudo wore a suit to compliment their day.

In the video doing rounds, Amber is seen serving Rapudo a drink as their friends and relatives laughed.

On her social media, Amber Ray had also shared videos of behind the scene as the food was being prepared.

Well, after numerous congratulatory messages by her fans, Amber has said the ceremony was just meant for parents to know that the two are dating.

"Thank you all for the warm messages but, as usual….bloggers wamewatupanisha. It wasn’t an engagement but introduction (for parents to know that we are dating) which is a huge step for us," she wrote.

The mother of one then asked her fans to stop rushing her into things.

"Ebu muwache kutuharakishia. We are just taking a day at a time and honestly I’m enjoying every bit of it @kennedyrapudo I’m so happy I’m going through this journey with you."

On their social media, the two love birds shared cute messages about their day.

Amber shared a love poem that talked about finding a rare person in her life.

"We are rare and beautiful people; We have delightful attributes,Like competence and intelligence, And what’s more, lots of cutes! We have mental strength and character.

To guide us on our way; People see this strength in us. So let’s celebrate this day, Because without it, we are not. My darling, wonderful you,the best thing that’s happened to me yet!" she penned.

Rapudo on the other side thanked Amber for bringing nothing but joy to his world. He described Amber as the most beautiful girl in the world.

"I am the luckiest to have you in my life. I love you, and may you never forget that. Thinking of you, loving you, and hoping you know if you need anything, I’m always here for you," he wrote.
