• The commission has been under the kosh in recent weeks after the disputed presidential results were announced.
• Wafula and his deputy Cherera have been at odds about how the final tallying was done.
Wafula Chebukati has allegedly removed all the other commissioners from the commission's WhatsApp group.
A screenshot circulated by NTV shows the WhatsApp group with the sole name of the IEBC chair at the top. Check it out below;

Slightly Mad As he should have done earlier. The moment they went to Serena, it was evident they weren’t working for the commission or for the democracy of this country. It’s now known who they are working for and good riddance!
KIPRONO Haikosi the 4 commissioners wamekimbia kuwaambia hii maneno, considering you were and maybe still Azimio mouthpiece.
Jeddy It has comeback to bite itself.
Martin Kettienya Whatsapp is not an official mode of communication. Iko tu cause its easily accessible. Let them use formal IEBC emails for communication.
John Chama Azimio guys wakiona hii, This must be very illegal thing, freedom of communication and others stuff and Chebukati is a criminal who deserves jail, it will have big repercussions.
Sen. Boni Tembo Mûtinda, ESQ I'm currently looking for the juju that Babaman sneezes into his diehards to use in the near future once he retires... Imagine that guy just coughs & all his followers get infected pap you may think his word is the gospel truth! The speed with which these fellas buy his stuff!!!
Mohaa Vp Ibrahim Chibukati has his own hidden agenda. Let him not burn the country.
Baringo finnest Na hakuna kitu watafanya
The alleged fallout within the IEBC commissioner's ranks will not come as a shock to anyone considering the events that have taken place over the past two weeks.
First, Cherera, Chebukati's deputy came out to claim that the chair has handled tallying of the presidential results in an opaque manner.
Secondly, Cherera states that she and 3 other commissioners will not endorse the results announced by Chebukati.
Since then, Azimio has filed suit in the Supreme Court with Chebukati's handling of the election being a big part of their case.
