Over the weekend, a surprise baby shower was thrown for Samidoh's wife Edday Nderitu, at Avery Lounge in Utawala.

She is expecting her third child with the Mugithii prince.

In attendance was Karen Nyamu's political rival Julie Kabogo who is running for the senator seat in Nairobi.

Julie is Edday's best friend. She publicly announced her support for Julie as she is running for the same seat under the Chama Cha Kazi party.

Karen spoke to Mpasho.co.ke, saying she is only competing against the Azimio Party.

"It is her right but I am not in competition with whoever she is supporting. Right now, you all know that chama ni mbili. UDA and Azimio in all the positions. Hizo zingine ziko chini. I can't be in such a competition. She should also plan on starting something so that we also support her badala ya wivu."

Karen added that Edday is using that to spoil her ambitions.
