Langata MP aspirant Jalang'o has expressed his disappointment over how the late Papa Shirandula was treated in death.

Speaking during the launch of  Pride Ya Kenya, Jalang'o says the Late Shirandula was not treated like the Icon he was.

This was because of the strict measures put up at the time due to the spread of  Covid-19.

"Covid-19 did not give us a chance to celebrate Papa. Things happened very first, he died on a Friday and was buried on a Sunday.

If he died today even the President would have attended."

Asked whether he plans on doing something to help commemorate the late Papa, Jalang'o responded

"We have done that again and again. Last year we did an anniversary, we wanted to do something special but sadly his mum passed away.

A lot of things have happened but they have been kept under the water."

Jalang'o praised the late thespian for giving him a chance to act on the show Papa Shirandula.

The ex-Morning Kiss host also thanked Papa for giving him the name Jalang'o adding that it is what has made him as famous as he is today.
