Digital content creator and media star Anita Nderu Raftery has revealed that she shares a toothbrush with her almost 2-year-old toddler.

In her Instagram stories, the former Teen Republic host shared in detail how her daughter, Kaya was now at that stage where kids start learning basic hygiene.

According to Anita, Kaya was willing to brush her teeth after meals but under one condition... she uses her mommy's toothbrush. I guess hers just isn't cool enough.

Anita shared her woes as a first time mom, asking others to share whether they had experienced this phase and what she can do to ensure Kaya stops using her toothbrush and start using her own kiddie brush.

She went on to share a photo of her used toothbrush which was all dirtied up on the handle from Kaya's smudgy fingers as she lamented over her daughter invading her privacy.

"Guys so Kaya is at that age where we have started teaching her how to brush her teeth. The only problem is she will only use my toothbrush, like she completely refuses to use her and only wants mommy's.

I've tried to make her stop but that is the only way that she will brush her teeth like she just wants to use my toothbrush and I don't know what to do,"

The host of The Overdressed Cook went on to post a photo of her dirty white toothbrush with food stains that had daughter had used a while back as she lamented over her current motherhood struggle.

"Look at this brush, God knows what that is and where her little hands have been. But I still let her use it because that's all she'll do. So I let her use it then just clean it using toothpaste," shared Anita Nderu.

Her post comes in just a few days after Diana Marua and Kelvin 'Bahati' Kioko shared a video illustrating them sharing a toothbrush.

The controversial couple could be seen filming in the bathroom after a shower when Bahati started brushing his teeth.

Diana who had just finished cleansing her face turned to the musician and grabbed his toothbrush off him while he was still vigorously cleaning his teeth.

She then proceeded to use the very same brush without raising it off or anything!

Bahati, a little stunned looked at his wife in confusion before he snatched back his used toothbrush and proceeded to continue brushing his teeth with it while paste froth formed on his mouth.

The two kept the little game of "snatch the used toothbrush" going for a while as they both vigorously brushed their teeth with the one brush without any one of them spitting out.

Bahati then kissed Diana before the video cut short and then the two broke out into a song and little dance coupled up with some R-rated PDA.
