Akothee's ex-lover and former manager Nelly Oaks is being encouraged by his fans online.

This is after he shared a motivational quote last night that has been interpreted to be throwing shade at his ex-lover madam boss Akothee.

Nelly Oaks asked his followers to stay away from those people who discourage their ambitions.

"Stay away from those people who try to discourage your ambitions. Small minds will always do that, but great minds will give you a feeling that you can become great too.#hustlernation."

Singer Akothee confirmed her breakup with her former manager Nelly Oaks about three months ago after he started missing on her timeline.

Akothee and Nelly Oaks served their fans couple goals with the mom of 5 being loud about her being in so into him.

Akothee said dumping Nelly Oaks was just a personal decision and she needed time to concentrate on her new found happiness with less destruction.

The mother of five added that it was a decision for anyone to dump whoever they want at any time they want.

At the same time, Akothee said people have the freedom to date anyone they want.
