Thursday, August 25th proved a great day for all Governor elects.

The individuals who were declared winners in the August 9 poll, were sworn in in their various counties.

The oath-taking process excited their voters who reminded them that they have a lot to deliver based on lection pledges made.

We have compiled a photo story of the various leaders who will be serving Kenyans for the next five years.

In no particular order, we begin in Maa land.

1. Joseph Ole Lenku

The Maa leader was re-elected for his second term by Kajiado constituents.

Ole Lenku took his oath with his beautiful wife Edna standing by his side to show her support.

Ole Lenku thanked her for being his support system in a cute message.

2. Irungu Kangata

The Muranga Governor has represented Muranga severally in his capacity as a Senator.

The 42-year-old leader thanked voters in a powerful speech he pledged to endeavor to do his best.

His gorgeous wife was by his side during the swearing-in ceremony at Ihura stadium. 

3. Hon Kuria Kimani- MP Molo, 

Francis Kimani Kuria has delightfully shown off his wife.

His life story read s of one from grass to grace. In an interview with the Hot Seat, Kuria told he was brought up by a single mother earned 80 bob as a farm hand.

In 2017, he decided to run for MP in Molo Constituency and was elected on a Jubilee ticket.

In 2o22, he run under a Kenya Kwanza ticket to win.

4.Susan Kihika

The Nakuru Governor has a loving husband Sam Mburu who has been by her side.

The couple tied the knot in August 2020.

5. Cate Waruguru

The Laikipia Women Rep is very outspoken.

She showed him off on Fathers day where she gushed over him saying he brightens her days.

6. George Natembeya

The Tranzoia Governor is married to Linda Natembeya.

Linda and is an English teacher by profession.

7. Simba Arati

The Kisii Governor is married to a Chinese national.

She has blown as away with her fluent grasp of his mother tongue (Kisii).

In a video that's gone viral online, Arati's wife greets a congregation and goes on in Kisii to tell them about her handsome husband.
