Wajackoya's running mate Justina Wamae has revealed she last spoke to the Roots Party leader founder on August 9th.

Wamae now claims she last spoke with her boss before the August 9 general election.

"The last time I had a conversation with my party leader was August 3, that was before elections," she said during a TV interview on Tuesday.

Wamae claimed thereafter, Wajackoyah blocked her and they haven't been in touch ever since save for when they met at the Bomas of Kenya during vote tallying - and they only said hi.

"We have not spoken with him on matters on election and our party in person," Wamae revealed.

On August 22, 2022, Wamae was summoned by her party over a congratulatory message she sent to President-elect William Samoei Ruto.

In the summon, Wamae is facing disciplinary actions over what has been termed as misrepresenting her party during the recently concluded General elections.

She has been accused of making contradictory and malicious statements about her party and she will have to face the disciplinary committee with answers.

Roots party legal director Washika Wachira cited number of incidents that landed Wamae in trouble – claiming Wajackoyah had endorsed Raila and congratulatory message to Ruto.

"Saying that votes were stolen is simply preposterous when I see some parties like Roots Party, who as a member I can confidently say we were disorganized in regards to agents mobilizations."

“It is in our knowledge that you have continuously disassociated yourself with the party and its ideologies. You have associated yourself without opponents and advocated for their ideologies," Wachira said in the summon letter.

However, in a quick rejoinder, Wamae fired back at Roots party and Professor Wajackoyah - terming allegations labeled against as her as pure pettiness.

She also made it clear that she was not going to respond to the said claims raised by the Roots Party legal director Washika Wachira.

“I will not respond to pettiness. But on the non-existent accommodation and car you imagined you 'assisted' me with you can withdraw in your dreams. It is your party do what you deem fit, I will soldier on,” Justina Wamae responded.
