Former Starehe Constituency Member of Parliament Charles Kanyi alias Jaguar has gone back to his first love, music, after he lost his MP seat.

Jaguar's new hit 'Nitumie is a proof that the Kigeugeu hitmaker is still killing it in the music scene.

The song, now available on YouTube was released today. Jaguar has collaborated with Ambassador Official.

Jaguar's song video setup is likely done in a church setup which has left fans wondering if he has joined the gospel industry.

Jaguar's dancers are wearing church gowns and there is a cross in the background.

While announcing his music comeback, Jaguar shared a snippet of the song on his social media platform and captioned that he is back after a long break;

"Just dropped my new single #Nitume after a long break. I collaborated on this with my brother @ambassadaofficial from Uganda. It's Now Available on YouTube."

Jaguar was elected to parliament when his music career was still on top and had promised his supporters that he would still entertain them.

Jaguar assured his fans that he will still be releasing a new song even as he continues to serve as Starehe MP.

As a member of parliament, Jaguar only released one song, ‘Ndoto’ in five years. The song talked about his life journey and it was an inspiration to the Kenyan youth who are working hard to achieve their dreams.

"New Single Alert; #Ndoto. It's now close to two decades since I first set foot in a recording studio. I thank God for this gift that has over the years been an inspiration to millions of listeners in my country and beyond. I thank all those who’ve walked with me through my musical journey; My overwhelming fans, fellow musicians, producers, deejays, presenters, promoters, and corporate. To assure you I will not quit on music," Jaguar wrote in part.
