1. The missing IEBC official was found dead

Missing Embakasi East Returning Officer, Daniel Musyoka was found dead. Police suggested Musyoka walked out of the tallying centre and headed to a nearby bus stop, and that he seemed at ease with no signs of distress.

Footage before he disappeared on Thursday, August 11 was analyzed and police further established that Musyoka did not receive or make any calls as indicated in preliminary reports.

Upon further scrutiny, the officer affirmed that Musyoka was not being trailed by any vehicle or person.

2. Gospel singer Eunice Njeri announced her pregnancy and new relationship.

A few hours after IEBC announced the Presidential results, Eunice Njeri dropped a bombshell revealing that she got married last year and got a son this year.

Eunice shared a chronology of events from when she met a man who she only identified as Muthii.

3. Gospel singer Mr Seed's popular song 'Dawa ya baridi' hit ten million views.

The singer quietly announced this fantastic news during the height of the drama at Bomas, the national tallying centre for the presidential result.

He told fans about his excitement, "Dawa ya baridi. Thank you ten million views."

4.  Akothee's daughter Rue baby made a vow to run without clothes for her fans pretty soon.

She revealed that "So I made a bet and I can't sit calm please announce." Adding, "Am literally waiting to run on the streets in my bikini..chebs please haraka."

Rue baby is a model and entrepreneur who sells clothes among them swimwear.

5. Jimals ex-wife Amira loses weight

Amira has been in self-care mode as we awaited news from Bomas. Amira revealed she has been on a weight loss journey that has seen her lose 19kilos so far.

Amira shared a before and after picture collage to prove to naysayers how she has been disciplined.

6. Tanzanian President Suluhu instructed her country's officers to lose weight

In a national address, Suluhu told the police force that they must return to training because of their kitambi's.
