Rigathi Gachagua confident after casting his vote

Kenya Kwanza presidential running mate presidential running mate Rigathi Gachagua has asked Kenyans to maintain peaceful elections.

Speaking shortly after casting his vote, Gachagua expressed confidence in the casting votes process.

Rigathi Gachagua was with his wife Dorcas Rigathi and Aunt at Sagana Primary School polling station in Mathira.

Gachagua said he is exited with the turn out of voters in the region.

He said it was impossible to introduce dead voter in this election or stuff ballot papers because the process is seamless.

"Thank you very much, its a defining moment for the people of Kenya, I'm exited by the voters turn out, they had queued early to elect readers of their choice," he said.

Gachagua expressed gratitude to Kenyans for turning up to vote.

Gachagua urged people to remain peaceful during the elections exercise as life must go on after elections.

"I want to appeal to the people of Kenya to keep peace, and I urge those who are at home to come out and vote, and be part of the process to define their destiny , they cannot stay away," he said.
