You'd think to be a voter you'll only need your voter's ID card and an original Identification card.

There are a couple of things that you'll need to have with you to ensure that you'll be good if not comfortable standing in line until it's your turn.

Remember that voting is your right to voice your needs and the kind of leader that you want for your country.

Here is a list of things to bring to your voting station;

• Earphones

It's not bearable to be in line for almost an hour or so waiting to vote.

It might be so much time before you can vote; therefore ensure to carry a pair of earphones to listen to music or listen to a podcast.

This will make it bearable to stay in line.

• A bottle of water

Ensure to stay hydrated, this will enable you to be strong during the waiting hours.

Water will give you the energy to keep on standing or be active as needed to be to fulfill your mission to vote.

• A snack

A snack comes in handy during bad times, and this is a good time to carry an apple or a cake to give you energy.

You may not be sure how long you'll be at the voting station so carrying something to eat during this time will be very convenient.

• An umbrella

No one knows what tomorrow holds, it could be a rainy day or too sunny and hot.

Carrying an umbrella will be good to protect you from the sunshine rays and the rain.

As a citizen voting is important and you want to ensure that you put in your votes and nothing should hinder you from that.

• A phone

This is one of the most important gadgets, every information that you need will be on the internet.

Carrying your phone with you will keep you updated on what is happening across the currently; also communicating with friends and family will be vital during the election period.

• Company

Yes, carry a friend! Tag along one of your friends or a close person in your life. At least you'll not be bored at all as you'll have good company, this will give you the mojo you need to vote.

Also carrying a friend who is also legal to vote will make a difference when voting for your leaders.

• Appropriate clothing

7. Depending on the weather, layer your clothes so that you can easily remove that heavy jacket if it warms up. The weather has been so unpredictable, we won't be sure what to expect.
