Kesses MP and Mediheal Hospital owner Swarup Mishra has spent 25 years in Kenya.
The MP, who has earned a Kalenjin name - Kiprop Arap Chelule is a man who not only owns a vast wealth but lives lavishly.
One would think that from his nickname Arap Chelule, Mishra is a down-to-earth man like a farmer in Kesses.
In an interview with the Standard, Mishra revealed that he became wealthy throughhard work, help from God, and strangers.
The Kesses MP who lives in an old mansion at the heart of Eldoret town owns 1,000 plus pairs of shoes and expensive suits.
Other than the shoes, Mishra also has 164 watches from luxurious brands and 18 phones.
Among the 18 phones, Mishra has allocated one for exclusive calls and messages from VIP persons and his close family members.
“When the president or any big person wants to call me, he uses this line. This is for the family, this is for the constituency, this has an Indian line, this is my business line, this is for Dubai,” he told the standard.
The MP, who is of Indian origin started off with a hospital in Eldoret, and expanded to other towns such as Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, Kigali, Kakamega and many more.
