Marriage is not a new topic for Mumias East MP Peter Salasya, who has been discussing the type of wife he desires for some time.
In that vein, speaking with Betty Kyallo on TV 47, Salasya revealed that he now wants to marry a woman who is busy with many activities.
Furthermore, he also desires a submissive wife.
"The issue with a wife, and they must understand this, the Bible says submissive. It's biblical, it's spiritual, you should be obedient," he said.
"It's a very difficult thing for me to marry because modern women want to stay with you in Nairobi, but I want her to stay in the village. Someone advised me to get a teacher or a banker. Someone who is busy and won't stress me out."
This is translated gently as, "It's very hard for me to marry because modern women want to live with you in Nairobi, but I want someone I can leave at home. Someone advised me to get a teacher or banker. Someone who is busy and won't pressure me."
Salasya said a woman with many activities wouldn't continue to message him either.
He added that he wants to marry two or three wives, being confident that he can provide for their financial needs.
Earlier this month, the MP for the first time used his Instagram page to say he is considering marrying more than two wives.
He linked this to the current cold weather conditions, saying it has made him start thinking about getting one wife this year and another next year.
