Rapper Majirani is working as a mjengo guy (construction worker) in Poland.
A recent video of Majirani narrating his experience as a construction worker in Poland surfaced online a few days ago.
In the video, Majirani is urging his fellow artistes to work hard or else they will be forced to do odd jobs to make ends meet.
Speaking to Mpasho's writer Elizabeth Ngigi, Majirani said the tough decision is bearing fruits.
The former grandpa records signee said he does not want to be broke again, recounting how his girlfriend dumped him for being broke.
"I don't want to be broke again. Poverty is bad, my girlfriend dumped me after I had introduced her to my parents," he said.
"Then after I stopped singing, money stopped coming. By then, I didn't have side hustles, no known business, just my savings. I went three months without paying rent."
Majirani was running a football club, which he was also not able to fund.
"Life was hard to an extent she saw no worth in me. She denied me conjugal rights for five months, yet we were living together," he said.
