Years ago, pastor Robert Burale was addicted to visiting strip clubs while studying in the UK.

In a candid interview with Mpasho.co.ke he explained what made him change and give his life to Christ.

"I used to go to strip clubs. What made me change is that I saw a filthy man when I looked at myself in the mirror. I did not like what I saw.

I just needed to have a moment with myself, I went to House of Grace, the strip club I used to visit was opposite the church I went to.

The bishop told me my name would be known despite me not being known at the time. He has held my hand since then. I respect that man."

Burale added,

"I know how difficult it is to want to come out of a whole but you are afraid of people judging you. The women come and dance, with you, The women maintain eye contact the entire time. When you go home all you think about is about the stripper, and that is how you go back the next day.

There was an ATM next to the club, you would find men lined up na sio school fees wanatafuta."
