On Wednesday, Award-winning comedian Timothy Kimani aka Njugush took his time to thank Kenyans for the overwhelming support they'd shown towards the late Njambi Koikai's send-off preparations.

Njugush shared that they'd been able to raise Sh2.5 million out of the expected Sh5 million.

The money is set to go towards offsetting the huge hospital bills left by the late Endo-warrior and cater for burial expenditures.

Njugush encouraged people to continue contributing whatever they could towards the goal of giving Jahmby a decent send-off and ensuring they don't leave her grieving mother with debts.

Finishing up he also invited all those in Nairobi to show up for a scheduled Reggae Night in honour of the Reggae enthusiast who lived a full life.

His video follows an itinerary post shared by the late Koikai's family which highlighted some of the activities that'll be going down this week as they gear off to finally lay their kin to rest.

In the post, her family started off by thanking all those who had come out in droves to offer them both financial, spiritual, and emotional support following their loss.

They highlighted seeing how hundreds of people adored the late MC and have come out to celebrate her legacy.

"As the family of the late Njambi (Fyah Mummah) we wish to take this opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate most sincerely the overwhelming support and solidarity from friends and the many communities Njambi belonged to," part of the post reads.

They went on to confirm that Njambi was currently lying at the Lee Funeral Home as they finalized her burial plans.

"In accordance with her wishes, Jahmby will be laid to rest next to her late grandmother at the family's burial quarters at the Lang'ata Cemetry," the last of it reads.

They went on to highlight a few activities that are scheduled to take place leading up to them saying their last goodbyes.

Today, Wednesday the 12th a Tribute Reggae Night in honour of the media personality will be held by the Kenya Reggae Community at Quiver Lounge, Thika Road. According to the programme of activities, all the proceedings raised from the night will go towards offsetting the late Njambi's hospital bill balance.
