Globally recognized Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Bien Alusa has revealed things he would be willing to give up if he and his wife, dance choreographer Chikwere 'Chiki' Kuruka were to be blessed with a child.

Speaking during a candid interview he had with the crew of Iko Nini podcast, the 'Ma Cherie' hitmaker shocked the cast after he revealed his willingness to put his successful music career on hold to be there for his wife and child.

The Sauti Sol band member noted he would embrace fatherhood with his all, prioritizing his family above anything and everything.

He also highlighted that his masculinity isn't challenged by conventional, traditional gender roles detailing that if his wife wanted to continue working, he would be willing to be a stay-at-home dad.

"If I had kids in the future I can decide to take a gap year from music to take care of my kids. In my career of life I see it better to take care of my kids," stated Bien in a matter-of-fact way before adding, "If my wife decided to work and I am supposed to stay at home and look after the kids and raising children is a career.

Being a stay at home they have to instill ethics and nurture the kids it's a full-time job."

In a past interview with Mpasho, Bien revealed that if the time to expand his family came he would love to have 2 kids. Additionally, he would ensure that he teaches his babies their mother tongue.

Moving away from the topic of kids and family, the sensational vocalist aired his disdain for people involved in gender-based violence calling for high punishments for such individuals.

"I want crazy punishments for anyone who does anything stupid to women, I want women living knowing they are not targets.

Patriarchy is on its deathbed, this world is now going to be ruled by women in many ways men and women need each but patriarchy has been the model favouring men to get to the top.

If you look at many corporate, it is women who are on the throne, so we need to support them they are our sisters, lovers and in many ways, we must appreciate them because when in those spaces they will open doors for us," added the artist who has been a big champion of women's rights as well as basic human rights.
