Kenyans are still in a celebratory mood a day after Akothee got married once again. The mother of five said 'I do' to her mzungu boyfriend named Omosh at the luxurious Windsor Hotel.
A host of celebrities and politicians attended the strictly invites-only ceremony, as the singer insisted the card only permitted one guest.
Those who missed out on the highly publicized wedding were left to watch the day's events online in short clips.
Comedian Nasra shared her hilarious thoughts about being forced to watch it online saying, "Can Citizen tv please air this wedding. I don't like seeing things half half bana," she laughed.
Others have been saying that Akothee's wedding is evidence that we can all get second chances at love.
Pritty Vishy expressed the same thoughts on her Instagram stories while on a lunch date.
She wrote after a picture of Akothee and Omosh in their wedding attire. "Akothee ametolewa soko officially, the president of single mothers ..moral of the story..oleweni.." she captioned with eye heart emojis.
Janet Mbugua who attended the wedding also got emotional saying that there is proof that we can all get second chances at love and getting married again.
"Yes to love, second chances, and being unapologetically you 💕✨ Beautiful day spent celebrating @akotheekenya and @misteromosh’s wedding and re-connecting with self and friends, old and new 😊"
Even politician Milly Odhiambo praised Akothee advising other women that they too will find love again.
