The recent death of Stephen Laurel "tWitch" Boss who was an American freestyle hip-hop dancer, choreographer, actor, television producer, and television personality shocked many.

This is because he died from suicide. According to many, he looked happy and no one thought he would end his life.

Sadly he is not the only prominent person who died by suicide.

1. Anthony Bourdain

According to CNN, U.S. celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, host of CNN’s food-and-travel-focused “Parts Unknown” television series, hangs himself in a French hotel room.

Bourdain was found dead in a hotel room in Strasbourg, France, where he had been working on an upcoming episode of his program, a CNN representative said in a statement.

2. Avicii

Avicii whose real name was Tim Bergling died by suicide by cutting himself with a broken wine bottle after a long battle with depression.

The celebrated DJ was found in Muscat, Oman on April 20, 2018.

He was a well-celebrated DJ and a creative content creator known all over the world.

3. Chris Benoit

If you watched wrestling then his name might be familiar.

Benoit was a Canadian professional wrestler who wrestled for Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and World Wrestling Entertainment.

A two-time World Heavyweight Champion, he was widely regarded as one of the best technical professional wrestlers of his generation.

Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy, and their 7-year-old son Daniel were found dead in their Fayetteville, Georgia home on June 25, 2007.

Authorities later confirmed Benoit killed his wife and son, and later himself.

4. Adolf Hitler

The ruthless German dictator leader committed suicide in 1945, holed up in a bunker under his headquarters in Berlin.Adolf Hitler committed suicide by swallowing a cyanide capsule and shooting himself in the head.

5. Stephen Laurel "tWitch" Boss

Stephen, “tWitch” Boss, was confirmed dead aged 40.

Boss was found dead at a hotel from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Los Angeles, hotel.

He was a popular choreographer and DJ of Ellen DeGeneres talk show

6. Robin Williams

On August 11, 2014, Williams was found dead in his home in Tiburon, California.

He had hanged himself with a belt from a doorknob.

He had been battling depression for years. 

Six months before his death Williams had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Cheslie Kryst

Kryst was a journalist and former lawyer.

She was crowned Miss USA in 2019.

She died after jumping from a building in Manhattan, police said.

The New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed to CNN that she died by suicide and had multiple blunt impact injuries.
