Outgoing State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena has given her farewell.

Kanze was recently replaced by former TV host Hussein Mohamed.

Taking to her socials Kanze thanked former President Uhuru Kenyatta for believing in her and allowing her to serve as the State House spokesperson. 

"THE COMPLETION OF A SEASON.

 Let me take this opportunity to thank; His Excellency the retired President Uhuru Kenyatta for the opportunity to serve in His administration...Many Valuable lessons I take with me," read part of her farewell. 

Kanze further thanked her former colleagues for their support and for providing a hospitable environment for her to work in.

"PSCU team. The season would not have been successful without your support. I will always treasure you.

"Colleagues at State House...ministries, parastatals, stakeholders, etc...nyooooteee asanteni.

"My family and friends Asante for cheering me on and understanding when I had to disappoint...coz duty called."

"I thank you also for holding me in prayer... oh and the fun and laughter and for being protective. UNCONDITIONAL," she continued. 

Adding;

"How would I have done this without you ladies!!! ...sasa road trips zianzèe...na wapenda. My parents

"Harry and Jane though you watched this season from afar...you played very great roles, and your values...etched in me Mama Zeinab too. 

"I LOVE YOU....MY SHUDRENS!... all events I missed.... bdays etc... thank you for understanding.

"A special thank you to my husband Mr. Mararo... wa! Thank you! For the tremendous support...the constant pressure to want more..for being Mum and Dad most of the time 🤭 Sina words La Azizi."

In conclusion, she penned

"Mwisho Nimshukuru Muumba wangu... Many times I looked back and I don't know how I did it. But one thing I know Jehova you took it over.

And for sure that is how I made it through... ndio maana ninatambua kwamba wewe ni EBENEZER.

Mimi na wewe. Baba mungu sako kwa bakonew season loading,"

New State House Spokesperson. 

On Friday, President William Ruto appointed media personality Hussein Mohamed has the new State House Spokesperson.

A statement issued by outgoing Chief of Staff Joseph Kinyua details that Hussein will work closely with David Mukonyi who is the Head of the Presidential Communication service. 

Before the appointment, Hussein was the Head of Communications in President Ruto's team.
