For the past few days, Diana Chepkemoi, a University student who went to Saudi Arabia in search of greener pastures has been hot in the news over the mistreated and abuse she was subjected to.

Chepkemoi's story left Kenyans talking, calling for action, and demanding better treatment of all Kenyans working in foreign Countries.

Maina and King'angi took it up in the morning conversation as they called their listeners to share experiences they had or heard.

It was short of disheartening; one caller spoke about a tragic experience when an elevator she was in dropped from the 2nd floor to the ground floor, causing her back to be injured, and her employer couldn't care any less.

Another disturbed caller said it had been seven years since they heard from their cousin who went in search of greener pastures.

The police in the Middle Eastern countries are in cohorts with the said employers as one agent reported on a case on how a victim went to seek refuge and solace from the police only for them to be taken back by the men in blue.

Another caller shared how a friend used to sleep for one hour, waking up at 3 am and sleeping at 2 am. When her employer discovered she was keeping tabs, they took her phone away. Fortunately, she ran away, and a good Samaritan helped her.

An agent said the issue was mainly with the uncontrollable appetite for money from the broker agents and some ladies who will move from one house to another because there is more money than what they are getting talks only to find it is a fraud.

Multiple key people are using their different platforms and tools of the trade to advocate for amends before it is too late.

Maina Kageni promised to compile a report based on the morning conversation and hand it to the new administration.
