Legendary Taarab singer Khadija Kopa is the mother to WCB singer Zuchu. Well, Zuchu and Diamond have been rumored to be in a relationship.
In an interview with Wasafi TV, Kopa said that she is not aware that her daughter and Diamond are an item.
"I am not aware, my daughter (Zuchu) has not told me, neither has Diamond. I am telling you, I am not aware."
"I don't want things that are forced. Love is for those that love one another. In my family, we don't force, whoever comes, comes."
She went on to say that in her family, they only announce the husband and not adultery.
"Zinaa haitangazwi. Anayetangazwa ni mume tuu wa ndoa. Mambo ya kukaa ukatangaza zinaa, sio maadili yetu.(Adultery is not announced, it is when you find a husband that you should start announcing. It is not in our culture as a family to announce adultery.)"
She went on to wish that Zuchu gets a good man that will love her and have a character that my she likes.
She told social media users that only Zuchu and Diamond can tell us if they are an item.
"Please ask Diamond and Zuchu I don't know since the whole issue does not concern me. Ask the two people involved. If they are dating then there is no problem," she said.
She added;
"They are not siblings, Diamond is a man and Zuchu is a woman.. no issue there."
