Tanzanian musician Khadija Kopa has responded to allegations that her daughter, Zuchu, is dating Wasafi's boss Diamond Platnumz.
For a long time Diamond Platnumz has been rumoured to be in a romantic relationship with his signee Zuchu.
Speaking to Wasafi Media, Khadija spoke about the whole issue.
"Please ask Diamond and Zuchu I don't know since the whole issue does not concern me. Ask the two people involved. If they are dating then there is no problem," she said.
She added;
"They are not siblings, Diamond is a man and Zuchu is a woman.. no issue there."
Asked if Diamond is qualified to be her in-law, Khadija said;
"You can tell if a man is of a certain caliber if you live with them. Even If I was takingevery man at face value then I wouldn't have married the one I got married to.
Ningeolewa na wa kiwango changu. When you live with them you learn more. Zuchu has not told me anything about the relationship."
She was then asked to speak blessings to the two.
"I can't force things, why should I bless them yet they have not asked me to? All I wish for my daughter is that she gets a good man who will love her and they live happily.
And one who fulfills her dream. Diamond is not my son-in-law to be since he has not come to pay any dowry for my daughter."
