Stephen Letoo sparked a ruckus online yesterday evening with his very 'innocent' and 'innocuous message to former Citizen TV colleague, Jacque Maribe.

And what did he write in his Instagram message, you ask? He noted how much he was missing the mother of one, adding that they should share more memories together.

His caption that was accompanied by an image of the two journalists at a past event;

'Everything that reminds me of you makes me miss you a little bit more than ever. Let's share the memories once more.'

Jacque herself played along to the comments her good friend had sent her calling him her 'sponyo' in her response. 'Auuuww sponyo...more life,' she wrote.

But some Kenyans were concerned about the impending 'romance' wondering what Eric Omondi, Maribe's baby daddy would say?
