Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry Moses Kuria has paid tribute to his late elder sister Nyokabi who was buried on Monday.

Kuria said through his Facebook page that losing a loved one has not been easy. She said it was a blow to the family describing her as a diligent and committed person.

"Losing our eldest sister has especially been a big blow to our family seeing as we grew up knowing her as our “deputy mother”. Cancer has robbed as a diligent and committed person," Kuria eulogised her.

He also thanked the head of state and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua for gracing the burial.

"Today we laid her to rest and from my family and I, we say a huge thank you. Thank you to William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua for gracing us with their presence in Gatundu South to help us bid our sister, Pauline Nyokabi Kuria goodbye," he added.

Kuria also thanked his fellow Cabinet Secretaries for condoling with his family as well as coming to his home as the family celebrated Pauline’s life.

"I cannot forget to thank all the political leaders who turned up for us. Thank you for remembering your “once upon a time” colleague and his family during these trying times. And last but not least, to you, our online community. Thank you for all your messages, wishes and engagements. We do not take them for granted," he wrote.
