Jalang'o's baby mama breaks silence after Nixon Korir conceded

The comedian has been declared the winner by his fiercest competitor

Jalang'os baby mama Cheptoek Boyo has sent him a congratulatory message after his chief opponent, Nixon Korir conceded defeat.

Boyo, a veteran media personality took to her social media to congratulate the father of her daughter.

She expressed confidence in him as the perfect choice for the Lang'ata people and wrote,

"Baba Salika Jalang'o you have fought so hard and you won. You are the perfect choice for the people of Langata."

The two have maintained their friendship over the years and that has made co-parenting easy for them. During her 34th birthday last year, Jalang'o described her as an amazing person.

"Happy birthday min Sally. Keep being amazing."

In a past conversation on Kiss FM, Jalang’o quipped that he was lucky that his baby mama respects his wife, Amina Chao.

"My baby mama respects my wife and she knows our relationship is solely based on our kid. As a man, do everything possible which you guys have agreed so she has no reason to call you all the time."

Earlier on today, incumbent Lang’ata Constituency Member of National Assembly, Nixon Korir, had conceded defeat to his opponent ODM aspirant Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o.

In a statement on his Facebook account, Korir thanked Lang'ata's residents for the support they accorded him for the five years tenure he served them.

"To the people of Langata, I sincerely thank you for according me an opportunity to be your Member of Parliament for the last 5 years.

It's been a great opportunity that gave me an avenue to contribute to our nation-building and service to the people," he wrote.

Korir congratulated his opponent Jalang'o whom he said was leading in most of the already tallied results.

"From the results that we've tallied at the Generali centre, my competitor Jalango has a lead and I want to congratulate him as he prepares to take the mantle and move Langata forward.  Siasa si chuki. God bless Langata."
