A few moments ago, Allan Makana, the man from Western claiming to be Mwai Kibaki's grandson interrupted the State Funeral of the late president, Mwai Kibaki.

In a video captured by Kameme FM, Allan is seen walking up to dias to ask archbishop Antony Muheria for two minutes so he could also address the assembled guests.

Security then sprung into action trying to apprehend him. The archbishop probably had an incline of what would happen to Allan once the cops got him out of the venue and tried to intervene by hugging Allan in a fatherly way.

The clergyman also asked for understanding from the security officers, "He is a son of our nation who is emotional at the loss of a president, please treat him well."

How Allan was able to make it into the venue and so close to the esteemed guests is still up for debate considering the security at the venue.

Earlier in the day, Allan had been interviewed by the Standard outside Nyayo Stadium about the drama he had caused outside Parliament Buildings a few days ago.

"They took me to a police station and then in the evening they transferred me to Central Police Post. I stayed there and was taken to City Hall for creating disturbance the next day. I did not see any mistake I had committed, even my file was not present."

Makana says the incident made him lose his job.

"They asked me whether I had a job and I said I did not. But the truth is that I had one, when I went back I was told not to continue working there for lying. Right now I do not have a job. I am asking any volunteers outside there to please give me a job."
