Gengetone artiste Odi wa Muranga to vie for Governorship in 2022

• The rapper says that a few sponsors have come through to assure him of their support.

Gengetone rapper Francis Macharia aka Odi wa Muranga has declared intention to contest the Murang'a gubernatorial race. 

Even though the Boondocks group member is punching above his weight, his intention is to make sure that Murang'a youth are well represented.

"Murang'a youth have been neglected for a long time yet many youths come out to vote. But once you elect someone, they forget you," Odi wa Muranga said. 

The rapper says that a few sponsors have come through to assure him of their support. 

"Thanks for all the sponsors who came through to help me run for Muranga governorship 2022 even though they wish to remain anonymous. Mayut hii ndo time we make Muranga new again!!! In God we trust. Hatupangwi tena Muranga!"

As the 2022 general elections approaches, many celebrities in the showbiz industry are tossing themselves into the competitive contests.

Odi wa Murang'a has said that he will soon announce his political party and is serious about succeeding Governor Mwangi wa Iria.
