On Sunday, the family of David Murathe,  a prominent Kenyan politician, threw both him and his wife, Faith an intimate birthday party.

The Jubilee boss was surrounded by his sons and daughter together with the grandchildren.

The party was held at Ankole Grill.

Champagne was popped to celebrate the occasion.

Their son, Davidson Wakairu, got the mum a beautiful bouquet of flowers and even got her to dance for a bit to celebrate her big day.

Later, a relaxed Murathe could be seen smiling ear to ear as his family sang the traditional happy birthday song for him and his wife just before the cake cutting.
