A Kirinyaga University student who has been missing for the last five days has been found dead.
The body of Felix Terer, a third-year Economics, and Finance student, was retrieved Thursday evening at Thiba dam.
County police Commander Alfred Angengo said they suspect he may have drowned.
He, however, said a post-mortem is being conducted to establish the real cause of death.
“His floating body was found at Thiba dam and for now, we cannot tell what exactly may have led to his death because it had no visible marks,” he told the Star.
The deceased, in a widely circulated post, was last seen December at 6 pm at the University.
A missing report was made at Kutus police station under OB No. 22/16/12/2022.
He was wearing a brown jacket, a black and white t-shirt, and black jeans.
