A woman has left many amazed after sharing the story of her polyandrous relationship. Nellie is a mother of two children and she has three husbands, Jimmy, Danny and Hassan who have all become best friends.
The woman and her three husbands live in the same house and the men take pride in being with their wife wherever they go.
In an interview with Afrimax, Nellie said she has lived with her three husbands for three years.
"I was married before but my husband died in a car accident after we had two children. I was left with his brother and we continued to live in my husband's house."
Nellie wanted more men since she was afraid of losing a husband again.
"I have lived with these men as my husband for three years. Each man has his bedroom and the woman has her bedroom as well."
She met her husbands differently. One of them said he met Nellie after he completed his studies and could not get a job.
"She encouraged me and finally brought me home. The other two men welcomed me home," he said.
Nellie is a car dealer and her husbands are mostly unemployed. She provides for them and has even bought cars for all of them.
Nellie says living with three husbands makes her happy and she believes they are happy and satisfied and they cannot cheat on her.
She works hard to make sure her men don't lack anything.
"She got us the cars we drive," said one of the husbands.
Polyandry is a form of polygamy in which a woman takes two or more husbands at the same time. Polyandry is contrasted with polygyny, involving one male and two or more females.
