Forgiving a cheating spouse isn't a guarantee he won't cheat again

•The man who commits adultery is an utter fool, for he destroys himself.-Proverbs 6:32

In the recent past, we have seen women forgiving their husbands/boyfriends for infidelity even when they cheat over and over again.

The latest case is that of  Awinja admitting to forgiving her ex despite cheating on her.

Milly Chebby wife to content creator Terence Creative alias Kamami is also among celebrities who forgave their cheating husbands.

This is despite the husband being exposed by his side chick Anita Soina, although the couple has already moved on it's not clear whether the trust will ever be fully regained.

Size 8 also forgave her husband DJ Mo after he was exposed by his side chick bad-mouthing his wife's bedroom skills.

He has also sent photos of his 'jembe' and the same was shared online.

This was a sensitive case given the couple are saved and the DJ was on a gospel show airing on the local TV station.

Proverbs 6:32 says

"The man who commits adultery is an utter fool, for he destroys himself."

So why do women want to stay in such relationships?

As a woman, it's important to know your worth. No man is perfect but for a man to cheat and make sure you know about it that is the epitome of disrespect.

And let's forget the fallacy that women are more than men, we have men who can't take care of a single woman but have women left-right, and centre.

One thing men and women should learn is that forgiving a cheating partner is not a guarantee he/she won't cheat again.

There must have been something that made him stray and the same thing will make him do it over and over again.

Don't let public apologies fool you.

Sleeping around with every Mary, Nelly, and Stacy doesn't make you a champion it only makes you look stupid.
