Kiss FM breakfast presenter, Oga Obinna says he has banned Gengetone music in his house. This he did to protect his kids and what they consume.
Speaking in an interview with Kalondu Musyimi, Obinna revealed this while discussing his new 'pause' song.
He says his children love the song, and love the video but don't like Aggie the dancing queen who is featured in the video. They think the video is ratchet.
In the video, Aggie is seen dancing and attempting to grind on Obinna and there are moments when the two look like they are locking lips, something that didn't augur well with his kids.
"A weird thing yesterday night we were having a conversation with my kids and the kids don't like the 'Pause' video. Yeah, they say it's ratchet, they were saying 'daddy you are the one who is always telling us ati we don't watch Gengetone and then that lady the way she was behaving, and then you are putting it on YouTube and you know we are your fans and we'll watch it,'" he said.
Adding, "So I had to sit down with them... So in my house, I have banned Gengetone and the story was, so you, you ban Gengetone and then go and do Gengetone and I'm like that's not Gengetone that's Dance hall!"
