On April 1, a video of Kamene Goro and her co-host Oga Obinna getting cosy at a shopping mall went viral on social media.
The video of the two holding each other was accompanied by a photo of Obinna's hand around Kamene's waist as she held his shoulders.
Addressing the 'leaked video and photos' Kamene and Obinna have revealed that they did that on purpose, knowing that paparazzi will capture it.
"We decided to play a few games with you guys. We did a full performance...we were at the mall holding hands I was calling Obinna babe. Everyone was looking at us and whispering," Kamene said.
Obinna revealed that it was his idea to prank people on April Fool's day.
"I loved it, I loved everything...I loved the way you were holding me...the way people were looking at me.
I told Kamene ‘ let's go to the mall, let's hold hands, the rest will do the work for us," Obinna said on the Morning Kiss.
Even though the instance was a prank, Obinna says it gave him an idea on dating Kamene.
“I was looking at the posts and I was like...We can make a good couple, Kamene think about it."
Kamene went on to share that they have been good friends with Obinna for years.
“This guy knew me even when I was funny looking and had a full head of wig."
