Kiss FM host Oga Obinna has advised Kenyans not to let age differences deter them from dating their partners.

He was reacting to a story in which a 25-year-old man is dating a woman age 85.

Speaking during the Morning Kiss, Obinna advised;

"About the age thing personally jibambe. If you want to get someone older or someone younger provided they are of legal age jinice.

But for gentlemen, I would still recommend going for an older lady."Said Obinna.

Kamene on the other side says for women, age and height are two factors that they can't overlook.

She says most women would start labeling you as 'childish' after every mess up you find yourself in.

"For men, one she must be younger than you period, and you are looking at someone who's at least 4 years younger than you," Kamene said

Dating older spouses is not something new.

In Kenya prominent celebrities among them Mzee Francis Atwoli, Guardian Angel, The late Mzee Kibor, Bahati.

Pastor Ng'ang'a among others is married to spouses whose age gap is crazy.

Atwoli who is in his 50's is married to Mary Kilobi who is in her 30s. Guardian Angel is in his 30s but is married to a woman in her 50s.

Mzee Kibor was in his 80s when he got married to his youngest wife who was in her late 30s or early 40s.

Neno Evangelism founder Pastor Ng'ang'a is currently in his 60s and is married to a woman in her early 30s.

So that goes to show that age is just a number when it comes to relationships.
