Daddy Owen has finally responded to suggestions from fans asking him to date socialite, Amber Ray.

This was after Amber announced that she has a new intake for men in 2022 adding that the men she dated in 2021 should pick up their certificates.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Owen says he and Amber are friends hence they cannot date.

'I cannot date Amber Ray. She is my very good friend, how do you even start dating a friend?

Being friends means you have already friend-zoned each other. The entertainment industry is just like an office we make friends and Amber Ray is such.'

Asked whether he would consider dating Brenda Wairumu, Owen responded,

'We talk a lot, she is a very good friend of mine with or without the entertainment industry.'
