• He was a photographer by profession.

John Mbiriri Mureithi one of the 11 students from Kenyatta University who died in a road accident has been buried.

Through this socials Ndungu Nyoro, who is the founder of Affecto shared that Mureithi has left behind a young widow and a young daughter.

"John was only 21, few months shy of 22. He is no longer with us. Today we have bid farewell to him at Mathira in Nyeri County.He was a 3rd year student at Kenyatta University before death snatched him. He was among the 11 KU comrades who lost their lives. But that was not all about this ever smiling young man. When not in class, he was building a business empire."

Ndungu went on to reveal that unknown to many John was married to his childhood sweetheart Joy.

He was a photographer by profession.

"He was passionate about photography and that's what led him to run a professional business in photography.

He was excellent at his skill.Last year he decided to start a family. He married a campus sweetheart, Joy, and together they were blessed with a baby girl.

The daughter is only a few months old. And together they have been planning a beautiful life. A happy and blessed family."

In conclusion Ndungu shared

"I have shed tears as I watched him lowered in the grave. I have asked myself questions, so many of them. But only God knows why. And we too are candidates, in God's time.Fare thee well Mbiriri."

Others who perished in the accident were

Navile Omondi Opiyo, Beneas Otieno, Hellen Mbula Kisilu, Michael Muteti, Vallary Akinyi Ouma, and Oslo Mwendwa.

Others are; Felix Gori Nyaata, Austine Omondi Owino, Rodger Kiprotich Rono,  and Patricia Murugi Mwangi.

 11 KU  students  died in a grisly road accident while on their way to Mombasa last week.

They were among 42 students injured after their bus crashed with a trailer at a Pipeline near Maungu on the Mombasa Nairobi route

Seven critically injured Kenyatta University students were airlifted to Parklands Avenue Hospital in Nairobi.

Nine additional students were evacuated to the same hospital .
