Kenyan songstress Juliet Ayub alias Jovial has revealed why she has been missing from social media streets and the entertainment scene.

Taking to her socials, the artist revealed that she has been unwell for a while but she is slowly recuperating. She shared a bare-skin photo of herself, in which she appears sweaty.

Jovial also took the time to thank her fans for checking up on her, promising them that once she fully came back she would be dropping her first single of the year.

"Been horribly sick these past few days, I see your DM's worried about me," wrote the 'Jeraha' crooner accompanying the post with praying hands and a love heart emoji.

She went on to give an update on how she was fairing.

"Not yet healed but slowly getting better. I thank God for the gift of life," added the singer.

Finishing up she announced that she would still be missing in action for a while so as to fully recuperate and regain her energy back, promising good things would be in store once she's back full health.

"I'm just gonna take sometime off for a full recovery. When I come back I'm dropping my first single
