Gospel artist and motivational speaker Justina Syokau is ending her year just the way she manifested. When 2023 started, she released a song,  Mwaka wa Kupanuliwa, which went viral.

The song entertained many music fans for its 'interesting' lyrics. However as the year draws to a close, Kenyans have appealed to Justina not to ever do it again. They have told her in no uncertain terms that she should let 2024 be without a song.

She appears to have heard the concerns and responded, "Kuna watu wanacomplain sana by the way, watu wanasema ati oh 2024 usiimbe, watu wanasema nisiprovoke mwaka. Watu wanasema ati niwache 2024 ikuje unprovoked."

She defended her 2023 song saying she only wanted Kenyans to receive their blessings like she was manifesting,

"Mimi kama Justina Syokau, I am not going to provoke them, I will not sing for you. Hehe watu wananiekelea mashida zao. And I want to make it clear that me I siimbi 2023, na tafadhali nataka muwe na amani."

She continued to say that she had ruffled feathers with her song, but this time rest assured she would keep away.

"Kwasababu hata nikienda town sina amani. Napata watu wananikimbiza, 'Heh ho usitoe wimbo wa 2024.'"

Justina has been releasing New Year songs since 2020, but that won't be the case this time round over social media noise.

"Jameni mimi si nimekuletea mashida, zenye uko nazo. I don't, I have nothing to do with your troubles. I participate zero in your, mahali umefail in life, kama haukupanuliwa mipaka ni wewe, na kama mwaka wako haukuzaa matunda, ni wewe."

She revealed her success achieved in 2023. "Nimepata bwana 2023."
