Award-winning scriptwriter Abel Mutua has weighed in after his business associate and best friend Phillip Karanja ended his marriage with Kate Actress amicably.

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, Mutua opted to imitate Kate and Phillip by insinuating that he would no longer associate with Mr Karanja.

In his cheekily message, Abel mentioned that he doesn’t want to associate with a BMW owner based on the fact that he recently upgraded to a Range Rover. He previously owned a Mercedes Benz.

The sarcastic statement read;

‘We have come to the conclusion that going our separate ways is best for both of us. This is due to our vehicular differences.

Upon seeing the funny statement Kate replied; “Nugu wewe” with laughing Emojis.

Director Phil added; "Mtu BladiFakin sana😂😂😂😂,".

Several other celebrities have copied that joint statement to promote their hustles.

On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, Actress Catherine Kamau aka Kate Actress and hubby Phillip Karanja got their fans by surprise after announcing their breakup.

The two ended their marriage after five years and together they have one child.

The two issued a joint statement, stating that their marriage ended a while ago but opted to keep it private.

“We came to a conclusion to end our marriage a long while ago and separated. We sincerely request everyone to honour our wishes for privacy for us and our children. Signed Kate and Phil,” the joint statement read.
