A Global Perspective: Comparing the Incident with Brazil

Interestingly, Eric Omondi's gender reveal incident in Kenya draws parallels with a similar  viral occurrence in Brazil.

A proud uncle attempted to reveal the gender of his pregnant niece's baby by pouring dye into a waterfall on private property.

Raijan Mascarello, was fined 10,000 reals (approximately $1,900)  because he had placed 'solid, liquid, or gaseous waste or debris, oils or substance oils' in the waterfall.

He clarified the product used was biodegradable and   expressed regret for not seeking authorization for the act and stated that he would request permission in the future.
