TikTok sensation, Mummie Frankie recently landed a job at the newly established Radio 47.

She announced the news on her Instagram page by posting a promotional poster for the show.

The Mchikicho show will be hosted by TikToker and Mwanaisha Chidzuga every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This move has forced her to relocate from Mombasa to Nairobi as she has recently revealed on TikTok.

She stated in the video that she is having difficulty relocating because she has no mattress, utensils, or packed clothes other than the ones she is wearing and claims to be in Nairobi to start life over.

"Naanaza miango Nairobi sina kitanda maskini sina ata matress , nilikuwa kidogo nilie . Sina ata kitanda, sufufuria, I have nothing apart from nguo nimevaa"

Radio 47 was launched in March 2023 and mainly focuses on broadcasting in Swahili. The station is under Cape Media Company owned by Simon Gicharu.

The station has lost several presenters to Radio 47, including sports presenter Ali Kauleni Hassan, also known as Hassan Mwana wa Ali, Lynda Oriaso, Billy Mia, Mubaruk Mwalimu, Geoffrey Mang’ou, and Beatrice Maganga.

The businessman has also raided Milele Fm owned by Mediamax poaching presenter Evah Mwalili, popularly known as Mama Taifa. Mwalili is a celebrated journalist, having won three major awards where her departure from Milele FM has been a blow to the station.

Mummie Francie is also a founder of the support A Rafiki initiative which is a foundation that supports the needy and the unprivileged people in society. She stated it during the Covid 19 pandemic period.

She is also married to Andy Godfrey whom she met in 2015. The two shoot TikTok videos together under the moniker "Mbabas." She rose to the spotlight after receiving over 10 million views on a TikTok challenge titled "Hello My Baby."
