Former TV anchor Mwanaisha Chidzuga is set for a comeback on the airwaves after joining the newly established Radio 47.
According to a detailed program lineup seen by this writer, Chidzuga is among the top host of media personalities unveiled.
"Malkia Chidzuga is here to give you the best mix of entertainment as you go through your work day," the station announced.
Four other top radio presenters who quit Radio Maisha are also among those on the list.
Comedian Dr. Ofweneke, Eva Mwalili, Emmanuel Mwahumbe, Mkamburi Chigogo, Billy Miya, Mbaruk Mwalimu, Manucho the Young Turk, Liz Mutuku, Eric Wambugu the O.G, Ali Hassan, and Lucky.
Eva Mwalili alias Mama Taifa, previously from Milele FM. On the other hand, Billy Miya and Mbaruk Mwalimu were previously from Radio Maisha.
On Wednesday last week, it was officially announced that Breakfast Show host Emmanuel Mwashumbe had ended his relationship with the Mombasa Road-based station.
A farewell party organized by the station allowed the veteran Radio host to bid his colleagues' goodbye.
Mwashumbe joined Radio Maisha after leaving KBC.
Drive show hosts, Billy Miya, and Mbaruk Mwalimu also announced their departure from the station.
"Radio Maisha imenijenga at a personal level. It is going to be bae na najua tutapatana tu hapa,(Radio Maisha has built me at a personal level. It is going to be and I know we will just meet here),” Miya shared.
“Zangu za dhati wandani asante kwa kutujenga,” Mbaruk Mwalimu said.
The station is set to launch on Monday, March 13.
